Please do not plan on arriving early. The only people allowed into Burning Man before the event starts are the work crews who are building the city. Early entry requires a very specific credential issued by a Burning Man department manager. Please do not arrive early or you will be turned away.

Also, there are no camping or parking areas near the event. The nearest place for that is Reno, a two-hour drive from the event Gate.
