How do I sell my ticket(s) through STEP?

STEP opens to participants wishing to resell their Black Rock City tickets ($2500, $1500, and $575 tiers) on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 12pm (noon) PDT. Only tickets bought directly from Burning Man Project that have not yet begun the shipping process can be returned through STEP. STEP now also offers a secure way to sell verified face-value tickets person-to-person! Additional transaction and processing fees apply. To sell your ticket through STEP:

  1. Log into your Burner Profile and navigate to the 'Tickets' section.

  2. Near the bottom of the tickets section, you will see a STEP widget with a button that says 'SELL MY TICKET(S)'.

  3. This will take you to Lyte, where you can select which tickets you want to sell back.

  4. If your ticket is sold, you must also provide your PayPal information to receive your refund from Lyte.
